Enrique Lopez arrested in the death at 9134 Kentshire

Charges are pending against a suspect arrested in the death of a woman at 9134 Kentshire about 12:01 a.m. Saturday (February 24).
The suspect, Enrique Lopez (H/m, DOB 5-4-84), faces possible murder charges. The victim suffered trauma to her neck and died at the scene. Her identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W.P. Booth and Officer A.D. Brown reported:
Lopez went to his employer’s house and told him that he killed a woman in a house under construction at 9134 Kentshire. The employer called police, who checked the vacant house, and found the deceased female. She was partially disrobed and appeared to have been possibly sexually assaulted.
The suspect was taken to Homicide Division where he confessed to killing the woman.
