Update on Incident at 503 El Dorado Boulevard #1600
"The following article includes allegations as released by the government and should not be taken as truthful evidence or as any indication of guilt. As these allegations remain unanswered by the accused and unadjudicated by a court, they remain unproved and are just as likely false."
Houston police have arrested both suspects involved in the fatal shooting and stabbing of a man at 503 El Dorado Boulevard #1600 on January 31, 2007 at 9:10 p.m.
The victim is identified as Jeremy A. Billot, 21, of 503 El Dorado Boulevard #1600. He sustained multiple gunshot and stab wounds and was pronounced dead at Memorial Hermann Hospital.
The suspects, John Paul Barre’ (w/m, DOB: 4/4/84) and Nathyiron Pernell Howard (b/m, DOB: 5/29/78), were arrested and charged with capital murder in the 209th State District Court. Investigators arrested Howard on February 1, 2007 at 9:15 p.m.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants T. Huynh and D. Crain reported:
During the course of the investigation, it was determined that Barre’ and Howard were acquaintances of Mr. Billot. Barre’ and Howard conspired to rob Billot of drugs and money in his apartment where they shot and stabbed him multiple times. Barre’ was arrested at the scene and Howard fled on foot. Suspects Barre’ and Howard are both Katrina evacuees.
