Michael Deshawn Morse is charged with murder at 6240 Antoine
Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in fatal shooting of a man at 6240 Antoine about 12:50 p.m. on December 14, 2006.
The suspect, Michael Deshawn Morse (b/m, DOB 8/22/89), is charged with murder in the 232nd State District Court. He is accused in the killing of Daryl Hunter, 20, of 6240 Antoine #359. Mr. Hunter suffered a gunshot wound and was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital where he later died.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant D. Crain and Officer R. Chappell reported:
HPD officers responded to a shooting call at the Sterling Grove Apartments and found Mr. Hunter with a gunshot wound.
