As far as I can see, the YFZ ranch should be held up as a shining example for the rest of the state to emulate, as it has a lower incidence of every sort of crime. So why spend so much money to investigate and vilify such good people? Why harass people who cannot be convicted with such obviously tainted evidence? Perhaps because Perry will not admit he made a mistake. He's forced out the head of CPS, the head of DPS, and the Texas Ranger responsible for the raid, yet he refuses to admit why.
